This is a blog about food. It is about growing food, about cooking food, about preserving food and about eating food. It is about our food mistakes and our food triumphs. It is about the poor fool who gets botulism from our first canning experiments and the lucky bastard who doesn't. It is about nerding out over heirloom seed varieties and planning elaborate container gardens for parking-lot backyards. It is about choosing to opt out of the industrial food system in favour of something more sustainable, more fulfilling and most importantly more delicious.
